DON'T MISS THE POST BEFORE

EDIT:
Movies (primary):
nearly not lagging on low resolution vids... (one or two 1second lag from middle - than increasing)
vids like: "Eyes Set to Kill - -liar in the glass- music video.AVI"
but with vids like: "Scooter - Ramp (the logicalsong).mpg" or "Simple Plan - When I'm Gone [2008][SkidVid]_XviD.avi" it is lagging from the beginning till end with maybe 5seconds normal playback...
(the most tested profiles do not work -> console closing at start or not opening)

to fast to get screenshot..
MPLEX does not understand mp3, so you must choose mp2

(this one i used before switching to vlc)
fps rate continiusly decreasing, holding by about 40...
vid is lagging extreamly...
Reducing the speed transcoding is normal, this happens because of this setting

Perhaps the problem because of this,

it is better to clear this field

ok till middle of vid...
than beginning to lag...
and near end only a big lag...
but it seamd to start better than normal primary

i tryed Movies (additional):
a bit better...

your suggestion to clear the frame rate field:
i tryed it but it has no effect...

other thing:
i also tryed to take mp2 not mp3 - this helped a lot!!
but for a better quality i altered the vid bitrate value to 32768000 bit/sec...
than it had only a little lag random position in first maybe 30 seconds... lag was about <1second...
rest of the vid played fine... transcoding was finished about half of the vid (additional)...
with primary there is more than one lag and it they are longer...
so it seams to me that this is a mix of the two problems:
1. mp3 transcoding is not fast enought or somthing with the config...
2. with primary the framerate is dropping to low.. (maybe also because i send it via wlan -> collisions? -> time loss?)

EDIT:
with this config i also get lags sometimes while playback...
if i get one longer than one sec. the lags and their length are increasing...
(maybe a caching or streaming prob)

EDIT2:
sometimes or with some vids it takes the default transcoding profile not the selected one...
any ideas?

EDIT3:
that it was working at a good point seams now very random...
now it is not working good anymore - with the same config...

Recommendations:
1. Off mode "Termination transcoding if device request another file"
2. Set the field "Maximum advance transcoding" - 0
3. Clear field "Frame rate"
4. Do not use wlan (at least at the testing phase).

no vissible effect...
vid playback still massively lagging...

back to transcoding with vlc:
(still using avi there)...
the mux error is comming up if the transcoding has done the job - at the end of the vid file....
so if vlc would close there would be no problem at all...
so it has clearly nothing to do with caching...

wlan:
the connection is good...
tryed it with cable - it was the a bit bettered but nearly the same...
so it has to do with the coding - as far as i understand it...

new idea from the tree of ideas:
the show center has a usb port so i can attach a hdd or extern disc reader...
problem whith this is: it has no transcoder so the coding must fit...
but maybe i can build up a configurable transcoder on a micro chip... (or better there is a fitting one out there)... any idea of the needed speed or memory while transcoding?
(i study computer science so i have a idea of what to do - but multimedia codings were never relevant to me before^^ i have a very basic idea of what some codings do to reduce data but this is all..) if you know of a chip doing this - would also be nice... but because of my limited time it would be nice if i can get it to work with existing things like wms^^

thoughts:
maybe the problem is the show center... it is second hand and the owner before bought it about 3 month ago - so maybe he had the same probs before...
any experience with show center 250HD from pinnacle?

and very thanks to you for the help

I suggest to make the following:
1. By means of test transcoding to create the transencoded files.
2. To check up their playing on the computer.
3. To check up their playing through USB on ShowCenter.
4. To check up their playing through WMS without transcoding.
If on 2-3 there are no problems, but is on 4 to try to reduce the size of the buffer of data transfer of a server
(Settings-Device)

I have checked up playing through transcoding (Movies (primary)) Daft Punk-10.flv, Eyes Set to Kill-liar in the glass - music video. AVI, Scooter - Ramp (the logicalsong).mpg, Simple Plan - When I'm Gone [2008] [SkidVid] _XviD.avi.
With a sound of problems is not present, video bad, but it from the initial size (320x240).

allready checked most of it...
usb test is a good idea... but it understands only fat - my mobile hdd is ntfs...
now tested it with my camera - also very fast..

paying of transcoded files on pc workes fine... (2)
playing the allready transcoded files without live transcoding had the same probs (4)
playing the transcoded file via usb works fine (3)

allready tryed to reduce or increase this value -> no effect...
tested with 4, 512, 1024, 2048...
high values like 2048 make more lags...
but till there its all the same...
(it seams like 4k buffer also increases the lags..)

the bitrates are not that hight that it realy could be the network...
wlan g standard, lan 100...
is it possible, that the packages are hold to lang in a buffer before sending?
do your programm set the push flag on the packages?
any idea where i can have a influence on the networking of win 7?
(buffer sizes, allways push, ...)

Probably have to try 8, 16, 32, 64, 128. D-Link 320 works by 16

HI. I'm novice in wms.my "target" is to transfer sopcast channels to my tv through dlna.
I've installed server; my tv (A750) connects to server( I still don't know which device should I select).
Also, I have an HDX-1000( prty identical with popcorn hour A-100). HDX sees the server but can`t connect.
I`ve setup sopcast to see the channels through VLC. I`ce added in settings IPs for HDX and tv.
What`s next É

I`ll appreciate if somebody will help me. Thanks.
