Slow Start on W7

Post by libero »

Hi,

With Version 1.0.2 in Windows 7 The server starts in 5 minutes. Is there any way to speed up the process ?

Thanks

Settings - "Media-resources" - Scanning - turn off "Scanning directory of media-resources at program startup".
Settings - Server - "The list of allowed network connections" - Search - to choose required connections.

Slow program startup or server startup ?

Just server startup is slow.
I already have done the proposed settings, but it is still slow.
The same happens with version 1.03.

I'm trying to understand what happens, the cpu % is very low, so it's not doing anything, it seems it got stuck somewhere.
The service in "control panel" in the meanwhile is labeled "to start"
The program runs with administrator rights.

I'll try to attach the log of the whole 6 minutes it took to start.

Thanks

If there are no problems with running not in the mode "Windows Service", then try to change the account running the service in Control Panel.

It is the same in both modes.
Attached the log with no "Windows service"

P.S. I had an idea, will try later to reset my router, just in case....

No way. resetting the router does not affect my problem with slow server startup (and stop) time.
Version 1.04 has the same problem.

In the log, there are no problems with running.
Check the startup programs, the list of services.
A list of network connections shown quickly? (Settings-Server)

Have you tried to disable other UPnP-servers (applications) ?

Still No difference even after closing all UPnP programs.

More info:
I have 2 OS on my machine, with XP it works smooth. I have the problem in the Windows 7 environment.
