Client Access Configuration fails

Post by bpsoft »

Hi, I probably miss the one essential point with access rights.

I have some computers (better would be users) and a lot of directories with media.
I want to have certain directories to be visible to certain computers.

So I added the directories => all media are visible to all computers : ok
I added client access data of all client computers.
I restrict (green => grey) certain directories => all media remain visible to all computers.

So, what is the missing step?

Thanks

Perhaps it was necessary to press the button Renew. Setting up access is valid only for the element to which it is defined. If you define access to the folder, then the elements of this folder can be accessed in other folders. If you define access to the file, it works everywhere.
