WMS & Windows 7

Post by twosheds »

I'm having a problem using WMS on a Windows 7 box

When I try to start the server I receive the following messages

Start Server
Start Server [192.168.1.5]
Start Server [169.254.1.146]
(10049) Socket Bind error: 169.254.1.146: 0 - check the list of allowed connections to the server setup page

The Windows 7 box connects perfectly to my LAN & I can see my TV in 'Media Devices' in 'Network'

I also have a Vista box and it is running WMS perfectly

Both PC have identical setups in WMS

Can anyone advise what might be wrong or the additional settings that I might need in Windows 7 ?

Try this. I have Windows 7 and works perfectly for me.
