I'm running the latest WMS on XP server. Can't get any movies streamed (jpegs work ok).
Using "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)" setting. When I try to list the Movies folder on the TV set, it tells me that it can't display any content. The same folder of movies works fine with PS3 Media Server software I've installed on the same PC. Supposedly WMS handles HD content better so I wanted to give it a try. Spend 4 hours already playing with all the settings but still no luck. Any hints of what I'm doing wrong?
In a nutshell, I have several ripped movies from BlueRay disks that I want to stream in HD quality, but no matter what I try, they get streamed with very bad quality (VCR like).
Thanks in advance,
Mark
Bravia KDL-XBR9 not showing streamed content
Re: Bravia KDL-XBR9 not showing streamed content
Select device type "Sony TV NTSC (DLNA, 16:9, 720x406)". This model (KDL-XBR9) only supports MPEG2, to transcode HD content you should have a powerful computer.markg9 wrote:I'm running the latest WMS on XP server. Can't get any movies streamed (jpegs work ok).
