Hello forum,
first of all, Wild Media Server is a nice piece of software, almost everything works out-of-the box! Great Work!
Just one thing i noticed:
I have some videos taken with my Fujifilm Finepix camera, which are not played via Wild Media Server on the Samsung BD-C6900 due to codec issues.
Gspot Properties see the attached pic.
Apparently the
container used: avi
video codec is: MJPG
audio codec is: PCM Audio
VLC plays it just fine, so I would like to know how to the manage the transcoding settings for playback on the BD-C6900 ?
Thanx a lot for any hints !!
Zigster

Hello,
Try playback via the folder Transcodingzigster wrote: Just one thing i noticed:

Re: Camera avi movies (Fujifilm Finepix)
Just figured out to use another transcoding profile for those files ... switched to Transcoding Profile "Movies - TsMuxer" and it worked OK.
I just can't fast forward in those files via the Samsung Remote, but that's ok, as long as it plays
Same 'trick' worked for some other avi files that weren't played with codec DX50 ...!
Wild Media Server rocks ... I am seriously considering buying it!
