Basic question - ISO and Play

Post by McKlit »

Hi,

Im new to WMS and would like to know how to play ISO files on my xbox 360.

I've installed a xbox client and I've scaned the ISO folders. However the ISO files (BluRay) does not show - only the JPG files in the same folder are shown on the xbox.

I have no problem getting the xbox to play my music files - so I know the conection is working. It's a matter of making sure that the ISO files also get "indexed" and avaible for playing.

How do I do that?

Thanks

Well - I guess this is a simple matter of knowing what exactly to do on the Xbox. Because I tried connecting to the server through a web client and that works. Also I tried a web client on my iPhone and that also plays the ISO files.

So now my question is - what EXACTLY do I need to do on the xbox to find the ISO files and play them?

I find a lot of folders and also some m2ts (MPLS ??) folders but they all contain no video according to my xbox.

Are there any one of you in this forum who managed to play ISO files on your xbox? ANy specific part in the client setup I need to be aware of before the xbox will run?

Thanks !
Henrik
