Recently, there have been issues with sound and video intermittently being out of sync when watching a recorded TV show. The show is in xvid/avi format. 90% of the show is synced up properly, but every once in awhile (totally random times) the sound will be ahead of the video. It eventually syncs back up again but is really annoying when it happens. Watching the avi on my computer, the sound and video are always in sync.

There's so many different transcoding settings, so I'm not real sure what to even start with. CPU usage never gets over 55%, so I don't think this is due to my system being overloaded. The TV has a wired connection to my network. Computer running WMS also is wired.

I tried the following transcoding profiles and they all have the same out-of-sync issues:
- Movies (primary)
- Movies (primary)_720x406
- Movies - CoreAVC
- Movies - CorePlayer

I also tried Movies - TsMuxer, but when using that I only get audio. No video is shown.

Media Device is set to Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)

Most settings are at their defaults except for my changing Frame size - Format to 4:3 (Minimum, proportional to the screen). This was in attempt to fix the odd aspect ratio issues I mentioned earlier.

Does anybody have any suggestions to help with the audio/video sync problems?
Try to start playback from the first minute through a folder Transcoding. If you do not help, then in the folder Settings can be set to delay the sound.

Settings are not, but you can change the transcoding profiles "Movies (additional)" or "Movies - TsMuxer" for this.

How would I change the profile so it uses original audio whenever it can?
Settings - Transcoder - Profiles - choose profile - Edit
