CyberLink PowerDVD version 10 Ultra 3D

Post by djo_34 »

Has anyone tried PowerDVD's UPnP client feature with WMS?

I downloaded it and can navigate the WMS folder structure, but no files are displayed in the folder so I can't stream anything.

I was curious if anyone has tried this and had any luck.

Are there any Windows UPnP Clients that work with WMS???

Device type: Philips TV 2008 (DLNA, 16:9, 1280x720)
Client features are very limited at first glance.

WMP, Nero, XBMC. Best of all I think VLC in a web-mode.

Any Windows UPnP clients that support MKV?

WMP and Nero don't. VLC uses PowerDVD plugin. If PowerDVD doesn't work, my guess is that VLC doesn't either.

But thanks for the response.

I installed Haali Media Splitter (http://haali.su/mkv/). Now WMP support mkv (Windows 7), PowerDVD doesn't work.
XBMC also have no problems.

VLC contains everything you need for playback most common formats, problems c mkv not.
