I'm using a LG LE5500 TV who should support mkv files without any problems..
All the video files (except the mkv once) work excellent! But when I'm trying to play any mkv files I get no sound..
I've being trying to change some setting in the software in order to fix it but it didn't solve the problem.
What should I do?
P.S.
I think the audio codec is DTS.
thanks
No sound when playing .mkv files!!
Re: No sound when playing .mkv files!!
Thank you, Klausi69, for the PM.
So, yes, It could be a general problem in the LG TVs, but I'm trying to fix it.
can I transcode it or something? (It's kind of new to me so I could use some help

Wow it works!! Thanks! But it's very slow.. Every few seconds it stops and loads the movie. What can I do?
Re: No sound when playing .mkv files!!
I'm using Windows XP sp3, with Intel e6550 processor (core2due, 2.33 GHz, 4M cache), 2GB ram, Ethernet connection (100Mbps)...
Re: No sound when playing .mkv files!!
By right-click the mouse in the list of films, to choose transcoding profile "Movies-TsMuxer"YoavBZ wrote:I'm using a LG LE5500 TV who should support mkv files without any problems..

Maybe off subtitle selectionYoavBZ wrote:I did, and it works! but very very slow.. what can I do to make it faster?Eugene wrote: By right-click the mouse in the list of films, to choose transcoding profile "Movies-TsMuxer"YoavBZ wrote: I'm using Windows XP sp3, with Intel e6550 processor (core2due, 2.33 GHz, 4M cache), 2GB ram, Ethernet connection (100Mbps)...
Re: No sound when playing .mkv files!!
I'm using this program because of the subtitle support.Eugene wrote:Maybe off subtitle selection
Is there any other solution that'll make the video streaming faster? Maybe something related to the script code? Remember that the only problem is the audio codec. Perhaps I can only transcode the audio, so it will ignore the video transcoding?
Re: No sound when playing .mkv files!!
If your device does not support subtitles, you need to recode the video. You can use the pre-transcoding (Settings-Processing).YoavBZ wrote:I'm using this program because of the subtitle support.Eugene wrote:Maybe off subtitle selection
