Settings - Device - Type - "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1280x720)"
or
Settings - Server - to choose a device - Edit - Settings Type - "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1280x720)"

On right click of the mouse you can perform a test transcoding, if transcoding speed (fps) is less frame rate, then the playback will be slow. You can use the pre-transcoding (Settings - Processing), but it is better to buy a network media player, which supports lots of formats.

WiFi or wired connection?
You can try enable buffer of transcoding (Settings-Transcoder-Other(Buffer)), may problems associated with disk operations.

If possible, connect the wire and check.
