Problem playing a certain TV stream
Re: Problem playing a certain TV stream
I have restored my streams. I am finding the the "Read properties from file" feature is not working for me anymore. It returns blank fields now. It initially worked for a couple of streams. Previously, most of the streams managed to have their properties read after one or two attempts.

Links can be temporary, tested them play in VLC?grolschie wrote:I have restored my streams. I am finding the the "Read properties from file" feature is not working for me anymore. They play fine in VLC when I click "Open File" button in WMS. However, the Read Properties from File button returns blank. I have exported to file (using Save to file, not backup) uninstalled WMS, reinstalled WMS, and imported the files. Still cannot read the codec info into my stream settings. It worked the other day.

Is there a way around this also please?

I checked the reading properties of links in this topic - no problem.grolschie wrote:They play fine in VLC when I click "Open File" button in WMS. Doesn't work anymore for me. Attempting to retrieve the codec data returns blank fields still. It says "Reading properties..." and then nothing.
I also found after reinstalling that the player wouldn't see the server. I ended up deleting C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Wild Media Server\wms.cfg and now it detects.

Strange, I can see the words "ELLADA" in the top left corner in VLC and they are cropped somewhat on my TV.Eugene wrote:I checked, I think the same thing in VLCgrolschie wrote: I have one channel where is seems that it's being cropped at the top and bottom to fit 16:9:

By the way, I uninstalled and reinstalled VLC, but still cannot read media properties from files. I have 25 TV streams, and only a couple it worked for, then it stopped.
Re: Problem playing a certain TV stream
Yes. It previously was working. The says "Reading properties..." then it returns quicker than I remember it previously.Eugene wrote:Links in folder "Internet-televison" ?grolschie wrote:Doesn't work anymore for me. EDIT: They are in sub-folder's inside Internet Television folder.
