I just upgraded to v1.0.
I see there is an option now to select a thumbnail directory for movies.
I made a directory called 'Movie Thumbs' and put several picture files in there with the same name as movies that are contained in a separate directory.
ie:
Avatar.mvk
Avatar.jpg
I scanned, and then went to look at Movie Info...there was no thumb showing.
Is it possible to have movie thumbs automatically populate into the movie information page?
My movie directory structure is: F:\Comedy\50 First Dates\50 First Dates.mkv
There is a folder.jpg and moviename.jpg in each folder also.
Thanks
thumbnails
Re: thumbnails
If Avatar.mvk was already in the database, it requires re-reading properties, thumbnails connected with the reading of the properties.JDizzy wrote:I just upgraded to v1.0.

Re: thumbnails
I am in the process of adding thumbnails.
I have been using Media companion http://billyad2000.co.uk/
It takes a long time, to scrape the movies, but I have got fanart & DVD covers, on my external drive. The fanart are jpeg, the covers, something else, sorry can't remember the file extension.
I have been adding the thumbnails manually, to my movies in WMS. Highlight movie, edit, browse to the thumbnail. I have been mainly using the fanart, but the DVD covers also show up, If I select it.
My, main problem, is, I would prefer larger thumnails, but I think this is an issue with my Sony Bravia.
I'll try to do it, the way mentioned.

Re: thumbnails
THANKS!
The method you described worked great!
I just highlighted all the movies, and right click 'show properties' and
all the thumbs in defined directory were added to movie profiles.
It save A LOT of work!
