Some questions

Post by utillity »

Hi!

wow! this seems to be the first app to run on windows2008 core and deliver content to my Samsung devices. Thanks alot for this! Working a bit with it I have the following questions:

1. I have alot of DVDs in my collection - for all only the filenames get listed. I found a way to manually set the names (right-click "edit information", but it would be great, if I could "quickly" name all VOBs of a DVD.

2. After naming them accordingly, I see that they are also (as expected) listed multiple times (once for each VOB). is there a way to make it appear as ONE file to a DLNA client? The "Join for View" option (BTW: a non-english confirmation-dialog pops up) does not seem to do the trick.

3. it would be cool to drag/drop file onto the genres

4. it seems sometimes the server disappears from the list of servers on the client. is this normal?

Select files - Edit information

In folder Transcoding is performed merge files into one file. You can also use the mode "Create folders DVD-structure" (Settings-"Media-Resources"-Scanning)

Thank you for your message, will be corrected in the next version.

This happens automatically if the information is filled.

Possible problems with the firewall, must open port UDP 1900 (IN/OUT)

hi eugene, thanks for your help on this,

ad 1) edit information will not let me change the name, if multilpe items are selected. Only genre, etc.

ad 2) I've activated Create folders DVD-structure, but see no difference in the client? what could be the cause?

ad 3) yes, but if it's not filled in yet, this would be a quick/easy way to do so (and then save the metadata)

ad 4) thanks, will try

Yes, the field is locked, I think no need to change it, on the client device will not understand how to choose the file.

For DVD-structures create special folders.

Edit genre, quick and easy.

hi again, eugene

ad 1) the device (my samsung TV) shows this name, if set. otherwise the filename is shown, which is not an option, when you have many files
