[Resolved] crash transcoding some xvid/divx

Post by smulti »

Hi,

please excuse my bad english ;-)

For most xvid files the server works pretty fine, but some crash transcoding. When i let show the transcoder console window, for not working files, the window splashs up shortly and then it´s away, so i can´t see any information. I think transconding crashes for some reason, but Why? I can´t see the difference between working and not working files, all are xvid/divx. Transcoding profile is Movies primary 1920x1080 streaming to Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080).

some idea?

On the right-button mouse in the list of films you can perform a test transcoding.

Thanks, I´ve solved it. There were not supported vowels (german ae, oe, ue) in the filename and because of this the file wasn´t found. Curiously the files were shown in the list of movies anyway. Renamed the files and the world is great :-)
