Grey letterbox bars instead of black

first of all,iam loving the software it seems to beat anything i have tried so far by along way cheers.
As iam a noob with wild media centre i would appreciate it if anyone could help with this little problem.
As the title says i seem to be getting grey letterbox bars instead of black when watching 16.9 aspect ratio video it happens also in 4.3.
I have had a look at the settings but must be missing something i guess.

Settings-Transcoder-Codecs,frame-Active pad color - choose color. Too dark colors can cut off the TV.

Hello,
Does this fix still apply for version 1.01?
Because after updating it to version 1.01 I have the grey bars again.

I try to change the colour to anything besides grey, and that's all I get.
Please let me know if there's another work around. Grey can be very distracting to watch.

or (individual device settings)
Settings-Server-select Device-Settings-Transcoding-Active pad color - choose color.
