Hi!
is there a tool with which the WMI files can be created, without having to install/run WMS on the computer from which the content is copied to the WMS machine?

ad 1) the device (my samsung TV) shows this name, if set. otherwise the filename is shown, which is not an option, when you have many files

I found out that renaming the VOB to MPEG they are suddenly correctly played by the samsung TV. Is there a way to get this "effect" via WMS?

hi eugene, thanks for your help on this, ad 1) edit information will not let me change the name, if multilpe items are selected. Only genre, etc. ad 2) I've activated Create folders DVD-structure, but see no difference in the client? what could be the cause? ad 3) yes, but if it's not filled in yet,...

hi thanks, where is the information (genre, titles etc) saved? I just moved some file into a sub-folder and now all information is lost. I would like to be able to specify this information within the meta-information of the file itself - then once they are on the server, that information could be us...

since I'm running the server as a windows-service on a windows-2008-core machine, I would like to maintain it from my windows-7 client machine. Is this possible or will there be support for this in the future?
