WDTV Live is one of the quirkiest boxes I have ever used, but with WMS it works great!
Thanks!

Re: Movie DVD Covers

Yes, I meant the cover from the DVD 'thumb'... Actually, the DVD covers load fairly quick... it is the folder icons that I made that are slow loading.... Mine are in the root directory in a folder and are .png files.... I should probably convert then to jpg and compress. I will convert those and tes...

Movie DVD Covers

Is there a way to make the covers for the DVDs load quicker?
I have tried making them smaller size but they still seem to load slowly (or slower than my background image). Maybe it is my network but no way to hook up directly.

I was thinking maybe put them all in one directory or?

Thumb Cache

I have WMS set to use the higher resolution thumbs. It is starting to take a while for them to load making me wait for the thumbs to load before I can do anything on the page. Re: thumbnails

THANKS!
The method you described worked great!
I just highlighted all the movies, and right click 'show properties' and
all the thumbs in defined directory were added to movie profiles.
It save A LOT of work!

4:3 to 14:9

I have some .AVI files that are 4:3 format. I would like to transcode to 14:9 or 16:9 to fill the screen.
I did not see a profile to do this.

thumbnails

I just upgraded to v1.0. I see there is an option now to select a thumbnail directory for movies. I made a directory called 'Movie Thumbs' and put several picture files in there with the same name as movies that are contained in a separate directory. ie: Avatar.mvk Avatar.jpg I scanned, and then wen...

FLAC

I an using and older version of WMS and have read all the new things v1.0 has. I like the option to be able to check 'all movies in own folder' and have it display the folder.jpg in that folder. (now I have to add each one manually). Do I understand that the FLAC codec has to be installed manually n...

I added script, close, close, renew.... now ...
