It is the same file. Some times it works. I have made a test transcoding and when it is not working i am getting the following result og the test:

It seems selecting on the Sony Bravia menu: Movies, Transcoding, Watch Folders - and then the recorded file (still with the *.mpg extension works! I will give it a go whit new recordings.
