Hi Eugene,
Is there any way to have the WMS transcoder use more than one core?
I have upgraded my CPU from a dual core to a triple core, and it is evident from the CPU usage graph, that only one core is utilized.
The typical usage I require is to transcode mkv 720p and 1080p into MPEG2 (720p would be sufficient), with subtitles.
any other hints how the frame rate could be increased?
[ when transcoding 720p, I get between 20-40 fps, mostly OK
when transcoding 1080p to 720p, I get between 10-28 fps only
