Re: Song lengths not correct
I found a lot more files with strange durations. It turns out that these all had some odd information in the extended mp3 tag length field. I used MP3Tag to delete the embedded length data and then reloaded the file properties to fix the issue. I wonder if it might be best to ignore extended mp3 tag...

Licensing Model
Hi, I am trying to understand the licensing model for this product. I love the product, so please bear with me as I walk through my questions. 1) What happens if you buy the server with support for one device, but then need to add another one later? I don't see a price model for that. 2) What are yo...

Re: Some bugs
Ok, did some more testing. When the server is first started, the files are detected just fine (configured to auto detect based on file system changes). Once the server has run for a few days, it starts to misbehave. I have seen two types of odd behavior: 1) new files are not detected, 2) Media devic...

Some bugs
Found two issues: 1) If I select "Restart Server", the entire database is dumped and I have to rescan all media. Note that this does not happen if I select "Stop Server", then "Start Server". 2) New music files seem to be picked up fine, but new video files seem to have...

Re: Song lengths not correct
Interesting. So, do I just need to rebuild the database from scratch, or is there a way to force the file properties to update? Ok, I couldn't find any easy way to force a rebuild, so I went to all music, pressed CTL+A to select all, then did a load properties from file. That seemed to fix it. Is t...

Re: Song lengths not correct
Interesting, but I'm pretty sure the issue is isolated to WMS, since the LG player reports correct lengths when using Twonky, Tversity and Nero media servers. There has to be something different - perhaps an issue with using the PS3 profile with the LG? I also tried other device settings as well, bu...

Re: Song lengths not correct
Ok, here's a song that is ~ 6 minutes in length, but is reported by WMS to be over 11 minutes. download the song "1000 miles" from the following artist site: http://www.ilike.com/artist/KlokWurk This direct link may work: http://c.ilike.com/d/0000/667/0000667148.mp3?fn=KlokWurk-1000+miles....

Song lengths not correct
I am using an LG BD570 with Wild Media Server (device as PS3). Most things work great (ie: album art, thumbnails for videos, etc). However, I just noticed that the song lengths are not being reported correctly. Example: one song that is ~ 4 minutes in length is being reported as over 24 minutes long...
