I'm clutching at straws here, 'cos I went through all this frustration myself - exactly the same processes, as you will see from earlier. It is the Op System / PC combination at fault. My problems disappeared when I loaded Win 7 (on same PC). All I can say is that it's worth persisting - there is so...

My guess - it must be down to the service packs on XP. WMS with XP SP3 didn't work on my PC.
Compare Service packs with Eugene, maybe uninstall Windows updates regressively.

The new ITV Player is brilliant, Eugene - ALL content shows automatically! Thanks. Also, I don't have problem with SeeSaw - content there also shows and is stable (Maybe best in UK only . . ?) You might want to look at Five Demand now - Due online start of November, but here in beta .... http://beta...

I think your transcoder settings may be wrong - mine shows 'blank line' in the TransCoder type box.
