Thanks Eugene, but if I click on settings, I have a scanning option but I'm not able to right click anywhere so I don't see an option to restore folders.

I wonder if anyone can help. For some reason all my movies, music and photos are no longer displayed in the list window. In Settings>Media Resources>Folder List I have the correct folders. This was working OK previously and I'm sure I haven't changed any configuration items that may have caused this...

I have exactly the same problem when playing avi movies or mp3 music with my Sony Bravia KDL32EX403 running over an excellent wi-fi connection.
