Re: Inconsistent Results...
I am using the standard windows firewall program, on a WHS. Can you direct me on exactly what I am looking for, or what setting I need to look at in the firewall program. Thanks.

Is it even possible to have a MKV file play on a Wii (assumes the WMS can transcode it on the fly)?

Re: Inconsistent Results...
Turned of uPNP on the router, rebooted all, no change. Played same movies over wireless N, same TV, same WDTV live, using network shares instead of WMS, no crash after 30 minutes. Only happens with WMS, Wireless N, after exactly 30 minutes. Is there some logging or something similar I could turn on ...

Re: Inconsistent Results...
I tried to play 3 different MKV (720 and 1080) movies with the WDTV Live using the "Network Shares" instead of Media Servers, over the same Wirelss N connection. They all played flawlessly with out the 30 minute "hiccup". Again, the fishy part is the 30 minute interval between dr...

The wireless N connection is still present when it happens, and I can get back to the movie and resume usually within 30 seconds. Migt very well be a Wirelss N problem, but it seems very curious that i...

Re: Inconsistent Results...
Thanks for the reply. I do use DHCP with a reservation for the WDTVlive. I am using .72 version of WMS, and still like what I see. When watching MKV movies via WirelessN, the movie will stop after approx. 20 minutes, the WDTVlive says there was an error connecting to the network. I will navigate bac...

Inconsistent Results...
First off, thank you for the nice product. Best results so far of the many Media Server software I've tried. I seem to be having inconsistent results when trying to access my media via a web browser. Sometimes I get an error message that the server refused the connection, sometimes it is OK, then so...
