Re: How to make DTS audio in MKV files work on PS3?
Hi Eugene, No luck after changing the bitrate. When I try to set transcoding profile to Movies - TsMuxer in Device - PS3 - Settings - Files, Subtitles, I get data not supported error. To make this file play, I've to set transcoding profile to Primary movies 1920 x 1080 by rightclicking on the file. ...

Re: How to make DTS audio in MKV files work on PS3?
Hi Eugene,
Just tried the settings you suggested. Didn't work. The file is a MKV file which has DTS audio inside it. I think for PS3, the video in this file must be transcoded. However, I would like to listen to the DTS audio inside it without transcoding it to AC3.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Eugene,
My PS3 is connected to Denon Receiver that supports DTS, DTS-HD and much more. Is there a way to make DTS work in my setup? Using WMS 1.12.1.
I appreciate your help.

Audio is missing when playing m2ts files
WMS 1.10 on win 7 pro When trying to play .m2ts files through PS3, I'm not getting any audio. Tried to play the same file by renaming the extension to .ts but it also did not work. File was playing natively without any automatic transcoding. I could see excellent quality video without any problems. ...

Re: How to increase video quality of transcoded file?
Are you try to say that the default settings of PS3 will transcode to best possible Video/Audio quality? If yes, I just want to let you know that I did not change any settings after installation. So, I'm on default settings only. Can I not increase bitrate and FPS to a very high number so that I wil...
