Re: Web navigation blank after upgrade to v2
Thanks. Sorry I took so long to try it, but doing a fresh install of 2.01 fixed it. Thanks again.

Web navigation blank after upgrade to v2
I just upgraded from version 1.80.1 to version 2.00 and web navigation now just displays the WMS logo and the footer but no links for music, movies or photos. Is there something extra I need to do after the upgrade?

Re: Web navigation outside of LAN
Eugene, are you still supporting Wild Media Server? No new version for a while and no word from you on the forums makes me wonder if I need to be looking for a new DLNA server. Or are you working on some big new features for us?

Web navigation outside of LAN
My mobile phone can connect back to my LAN via a VPN. The VPN comes into my LAN on a different subnet. If I am on my wireless, then I can access Wild Media Server web interface and play media. However, when connecting via the VPN I only get a blank screen. I've tried adding my router as a device in ...

Re: BDP-S580/BDP-BX58
My Sony TV has a similar problem. As far as I can tell, it is the processor IN the TV that can't keep up with decoding the high bit rate stream. I have had to reduce the bit rate for my TV down to about 7mbps, anything more and it can't cope, other devices (like the PS3) are fine though, which is wh...

Re: Problem with script playlist too slow
Probably useful: http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=86#p86 Sorry, I don't see how that is helpful. I've given up with BasicScript (I assumed it was going to be VBScript, it isn't, and the differences were annoying). I've converted the script to JScript instead, it now checks and r...

Re: Problem with script playlist too slow
After some more playing, it appears that whatever I put in the script fails to check with the same error. Even if I put only an empty Sub or just a single comment in a brand new processing script. Is there something wrong with the BasicScript option for processing scripts?

Re: Problem with script playlist too slow
I've moved the script for one of the playlists into a processing script and amended it so it finds the correct folder to create sub folders from. However, it now fails to check. The first line is Sub AddTracks(playlist, playFold) When I click check script I get an error of ????????? ????????? and the...

Problem with script playlist too slow
I have written a COM object in c# that reads the iTunes Music Library.xml file and exposes all the playlists. I've then written a script type playlist that uses this COM object to build an equivelent of the itunes playlists in WMS. It works. Except that it takes too long to run. If I browse in the W...

Re: Control without license
I understand you correctly ? You do not want to buy a license for 15 USD for 2 years. You do not want to help others users - Territory of free licenses . You do not want use Bonus licences . Ok, maybe this feature will be through the Web-interface. You are correct that I don't want to use a permame...
