I tried with MLPlayer profile on iphone and it streams fine on IPhone 4 but doesnt seem to work properly on IPhone 3g. Is there any profile differences expected between IPhone 4 and IPhone3g.Eugene wrote:Updated 2010/12/08: http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... ?f=3&t=792

MLPlayer complains that the video format is not supported. I tried tweaking the container and video codec settings, i am able to get sometimes audio but no video.

Try the device configuration "Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod (DLNA, 14:9, 480x320, AirPlayer)" for AirPlayer (Settings - Devices - choose a device - Type - "Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod (DLNA, 14:9, 480x320, AirPlayer)")

Hi,
iPad is 1024x768, shouldn't you add a device just for iPad with this resolution? what's teh reason for having lower resolution in the ipad device?
I'm waiting for the bonus license (thanks WMS!), then I will try through Ace Player, I will provide my feedback.

Hi,
The reason for this is Wi-Fi connection (probably 3G-connection).

Thanks Eugene,
I've tried ipad profiles and as I assumed, quality resolution and image is too poor. It is much better through default profile. I use WIFI connection, which I guess is the one expected for DLNA transfers (inside a private LAN). iPAD 2 speed reaches 65 MBits through wireless n, which is good enough to send better quality.
I will take a depper test to see if i'm able to provide a new device profile.

First of all, thanks WMS for the bonus license.
I have an Ipad 1, with wi-fi connection. It works fine with both AirPlayer and AcePlayer Lite.
I followed the tip of our colleague and changed the profile to Default. The image got better and it also seems to avoid Airplayer of crashing periodically.
