On the right-button mouse in the list of films you can perform a test transcoding. What is the speed of transcoding (parameter fps) ?

I can perform a test transcoding. The speed of the transcoding fps goes from 20 to 19 to 18 to 17 as it's transcoding

Thanks

Transcoding speed should be greater than the frame rate, if less, the show will be frozen. You can click on the pause for the formation of transcoded content or reduce the frame size for transcoding.

You said reducing the frame size. I can reduce the frame size by changing the media device type from "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)" to "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1280x720) or "Sony TV NTSC (DLNA, 16:9, 720x406)....correct?

Thanks

Settings-Transcoder-"Codec, frame" - Frame size
or
Settings-Transcoder-"Transcoding file params" - Movies - Transcoding Profile - Movies (primary)_720x406
or
"Sony TV NTSC (DLNA, 16:9, 720x406)".

If changing to "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1280x720)", it is necessary again change DLNA-profile to MPEG_PS_NTSC

I lowered the transcoding profile to Movies (primary)_480x270 and it still freezes, but not a bad as before. Any other suggestion? You mentioned click on the pause for the formation of the transcodin content...where is that settings?

Thanks

I have the same problems. Think my processor is a bit to slow.

Under Settings - Processing I found a script called "Pre transcoding (file)". Is it possible to solve the problem using this script? I couldn't try it because it always says to me "Pre transcoding (file) - Not specified directory transcoded files". Strange. Thought I did this.

There are comments on configuring pre-transcoding http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... p=187#p187
