Sony Bravia W5500

Post by gregj_2007 »

Hi
I connected Bravia W5500 via DLNA to my NB ( with XP) . I installed WMP ver. 11 - connecting was ok.
I could see photos but was problem with music and video .
Therefore I installed WMS server - unfortunately this server didn't found my TV .
I chose model :Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080) and DLNA 1.5 but TV doesn't see WMS .
I switched on searching under WMS but without any result .
It seems that on the beginning I have a problem with connection : BRAVIA model W5500 and WMS server

maybe somebody has any idea

Search server into a media device.
Search is performed according to the user manual media device.
If the server is not found, and everything is connected properly, the setup program (chapter Server) to verify that the list of authorized client devices is empty or ip-address of the device is present in the list of allowed devices. If you use a firewall program, check its rules for the module wms.exe (if the server runs as a service Windows, the module wmssvc.exe), possible transfer program firewall in training mode, restart the program "Wild Media Server (UPnP, DLNA, HTTP)" . When other media server, perhaps at the stage setup they should be shutdown.

Hi again ,

my network is working correctly , I can ping from NB to TV , the server(name of the NB) is visible from TV
but when I start WMS server I receive message ( in logs )
"THmsSSDPControl.Start: SetupSocket failed - check the list of allowed connections to the server setup page "

on the server setup List of the allowed network connetions is empty , the same with list of clients - empty

Hi,
The server is started?
In the log there are lines running on any IP-address?
In the list of allowed network connections, you can choose the working connection.
In the list of authorized client devices on the search button there are any devices?

On the server settings page, you can specify permanent server port (between 1024 and 65535).
In the Internet viewer open http://server_ip_address:port should open the presentation, if does not open, then the server closed firewall.
