problem with fps dropping and other stuff

Post by slasherkill »

hello,

nice program you have there! But I do have som small problems.

I have attached my computer info so that you can see the specs. And I have also attached the video info for one of the files that I have problems with.

When I watch Avatar in 1920X1080 the movie starts out fine, but after around 24 minutes it starts to lag. But the funny thing is that the FPS is still 28. So how come it lags?! The CPU is not overloaded either.

It looks like it works with most movie files, but the ones that are mkv. I have a sony BDP-s370 bluray player. Using wireless connection.

how can you say that?

this problem does not occour right away, but after some time. Sometimes not before 24 minutes.

Several factors: maybe slow disk, wireless connection, mTorrent

Need to try different variants

mtorrent??
I will try a different disk now. but it seems like it happens at the exact same spot everytime. I have now even pretranscoded the movies rush hour 2 and avatar. still have problems.

I tried another disk, still the same problem. The movie start to stutter at the EXACT same spot again. Even when pretranscoded.
