Cuesheets, wavpack and "mkv transcoding"

Post by Helios61 »

Hi Eugene!

More and more is working great, but i have a few more questions!

1. Cuesheet support: Most of my music i have ripped as wavpack (or .ape or .flac) images with cuesheets! If i plaback these cuesheets, WDTV Live Player shows me all titles in the cuesheet and the imagefile too! How can i prevent, that the player shows the imagefile too! I am looking for a way, to exclude the image-file! e.g. "If there is a cuuesheet, then exclude the imagefile"!

2. Trancoding wavpack: Wavpack files here will be trancoded to .mp3/320kb! Is it possible to trancode them to .wav?

3. A small issue with one .mkv - file! .mkv is supported by WDTV live native, but this file will be transcoded! Can you tell me why?

Right mouse button you can close access to the image-file (Device access)

Settings-Server-"Individual settings client device"-"Subtitles, transcoding file"-"Music" - try choose extension s16be (audio/L16) or wav (audio/x-wav)

Maybe forced subtitles, check the track list (yellow rows).

It is working great wit wavpack files, but .ape will be trancodet into .mp3! Isn't it possible to trancode .ape also into wav?

Big Thanks

If you use a transcoding profile Music - APE, it also can transcode to wav. Right-click in the column customization (Customizing), you can drag the column "Transcoding profile" in the table.
