OK I have had enough of this to bother Eugene or anyone that can help me.
Playing internet radio or sometimes playing a video the playback freezes and stays that way, I then click stop or back on my player remote and when I do that the UI backtracks thru all the directories to show that the player is not connected to the server anymore. If I wait a minute the player picks the server back up and I have start playback again.
Does anyone have any idea what would cause this?
The player connects wireless to the router (a must) and uses the 5Ghz band of the dual band router.
It seems this starts to happen when our phones connect to the wi-fi. As soon as someone turns on their iphone and connects to the 2.5 band wireless connection the player gets disconnected from the server.
Could it be my older equipment:
P4 / 4G ram / All in Wonder 2006 / Linksys 600RTN
Are there some optimal settings to add to the router config to ensure WMS is uninterrupted? Please help. Thanks.
