Backup / Restore DB Problem

I want change my Server Hardware and OS.

Old Server: Windows 2003 Server 32Bit English with WMS Version 1.09.1
New Server: Windows 2011 Home Server 64Bit German with WMS Version 1.12.1

When I restore the previous made backup from the old server the movie and music windows are empty. Device and program settings are working fine after restore. The Backup contains database, program settings, devices configuration and cache thumbnails. The Movie files have the same location on the HD…

- Is it possible to restore a Backup from an older WMS to a newer Version of WMS?
- Are there any steps to do after restore?

Close the program
Open backup.zip
Extract wms.dat to ?:\Program Data\Wild Media Server

New version of the program support old structure.

What database System does WMS use?
It’s possible to open / import the wms.dat in to MS Access?

List [Movies] - right click - Save to file - "HTML, XML, XLS, TEXT, RTF".

Database has own format
