Anyway to play .F4V files

Post by Greenduck »

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32EX710 Full-HD TV.

I've chosen the "Sony TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)" profile and it says "mt2,m2ts,mpeg,mpg,ts,vob" under the embedded file support.

Is there any way to get it to play .F4V files. I believe it's some kind of flash file.

Settings - "Media-resources" - "File types" - Add - "File extension": f4v, "MIME-type": video/x-flv or video/mp4 - Ok - Ok - Scan

If the files are not on the list of supported files (Embedded file support), they will be automatically transcoded
