Hi Eugene,

Thanks for all your advice to date.

I've purchased a brand new Dell XPS8100 desktop with new Intel Core i7 860 2.80GHz 8Mb processor and 8GB of 1067MHz DDR3 RAM.

Do you have any recommended settings to get the best picture for widescreen HD videos on my Sony Bravia W45500?

Can I assume that basically I can run the viewing options at their best for true HD?

No, I do not have the recommended settings. The quality is mainly influenced Video bitrate (Settings-Transcoder-Codecs, frame). Maybe the result will be better with the profile transcoding, "Movies (primary) - MPLEX", but he mplex unstable.
