Hi everyone!

Post by Bluesoul »

Hi, I´m a newbie over here :oops: ... and I don´t speak much english :roll: sorry If I´m writing in the bad place.

I´d like to tray wild media server and I´ve installed it on my pc but there is one problem, the server found my tv I mean, I can find the tv on the client device list, but my tv can´t find the sever so ¿do I need a registration code to try the server or there is something wrong on the setup?

Thanks
Eugene

If your trial mode is not ended, then Settings - Server - clear "A list of allowed client devices". Check Settings - Device - Type

Try enable "Authorization service" (Settings-Device)

Check web-navigation: Settings-Device - turn on Web;
Settings - Server - set permanent port from 1024 to 65535
In Internet browser try open http://server_ip_address:port

ok, now it´s working with a sony tv 1920p setup... but transcoding on the fly the sound isn´t good, image runs easy but sound jumps... And big files can´t be transcoded ´cause tv shows "Error playing" maybe the low perfomance CPU (pentium IV 2 Ghz).

I´m goning to try with rj45 cable, low resolution (1280p) or pre-transcoding

I´ll tell you the result, the trick is try and try and try.

Thanks
