Hello Folks,
I just installed and setup WMS. My TV finds the Server but when I try to connect I get an error saying I cant connect to the server.
Like I said, I am very new to this program and i would be happy if i get this running before the 15 days are over so i can buy the correct licenses.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Eugene
I cant get to the webinterface either. I hope i did it correctly. I used the computers fix IP adress where WMS is running from e.g "http://192.168.178.50:5000"
If i try to connect the browser tells me it could connect but i dont have the rights to do so. I am on a Vista System and i have an Admin user account, but i know that there are restrictions of some sort. Darn Vista

If you use a firewall program, check its rules for the module wms.exe (if the server runs as a service Windows, the module wmssvc.exe),

I checked and the "wms.exe" is not blocked by the firewall. As well as the "WMSSVC.exe". I run Kaspersky internet security 2010

Settings - Additional - Autoload - turn off "Installation Windows Service" - Ok - Start server - check "Log messages".wildone1965 wrote:I checked and the "wms.exe" is not blocked by the firewall. As well as the "WMSSVC.exe". I run Kaspersky internet security 2010
