Thank you for the suggestion. No luck, it still says file damaged or incomplete. I used the profile you suggested directly on the wmv file. Also tried it in settings/transcoder.

Any proven setting to prevent transcoding? The ones I've found in the forum don't seem to work.

Is it possible to transcode with WMV9 instead of WMV8? I have an Archos Internet Media Tablet 7. AVI/DIVX streams to it no problem with Wild Media Server. When I copy my .wmv file to the archos it plays fine. When I stream it, it transcodes to mpeg2 which I have to purchase a plugin to work on archo...
