I am not really into this stuff but what about the BDP-player? It plays Blurays to my TV at very high bitrates without stuttering. I also use my BDP-player as the DLNA-server, not my TV.

I found some restrictions though: So far I have not been able to play videos without freezing every couple of seconds when the bit rate exceeds 25mbps. I have not tried those using a USB drive, so it still might be just a network interface limit. My rule of thumb so far is that if the MKV is around...

Choppy movie playback at higher transfer rates.
WMS on a Windows 7 pc streaming through a Cisco Linksys E4200 router (up to 450Mbps). Sony BDP-S380 Blu-ray Disc player is the DLNA-server to my Sony TV. Changed to some other transcoding profile and it seems to work now.

I think i might face the same problem. Subtitles can only be chosen from one folder, the (movie)file belonging to the chosen subtitle (T) only plays partly. At some point the movie stops playing (probably because of discontinued timestamps) and that's pretty annoying. Without being able to play subt...
