Re: Released a trial version "Wild Media Server (UPnP) v0.73.3"

I get the same error when I try to update from 72.3 to 73. What should I try?

Re: A few movies won't play on my popcorn hour.

I think that for some reason the WMP has decided to transcode these specific files, but not others. But the WMP should not be transcoding these files because the PopCornHour can play them properly without transcoding. AVI world was so much simpler....everything was H-263 and MP3 and it worked on eve...

Re: A few movies won't play on my popcorn hour.

About 80% of my mp4's play fine. So it is not a setup problem.

It seems that many of my videos that I made at a specific time with Ripbot264 do not play properly with WMS but play fine when the movie is played directly on PopCornHour.

A few movies won't play on my popcorn hour.

I have a few mp4 movies that will not play on my popcorn hour A-100 using the WMS. But they play fine over the network. The popcorn hour will say "buffering" for about 30 seconds and then say it cannot play. How do I trouble-shoot a problem like this? Is there a log file. Movies play fine ...

Re: I don't want it to transcode.

I tries setting the max file size to 1 byte, restarted my system; and it still transcodes.

What should I try next?

Re: I don't want it to transcode.

MP4 is on the list.

I took the chapter list out and now it does not transcode. How do I tell it not to transcode with the chapters in. I think the chapters are like subtitles, at least the chapter numbers show up on the bottom of the screen when the video's are playing.

I don't want it to transcode.

I have a video and I have encoded the video into a mkv and mp4 container. When I play the mp4 file it transcode and I don't want it to. Same content in a mkv file and it doesn.t. I am using a WDTV-Live box. I think it has something to do with the MP4 file has chapter markers in it. Is there anyway t...

Anybody Try Asus OPlay with Wild-Media-Server

Thinking of getting rid of my Popcorn Hour and getting another WDTV-Live box or a Asus OPlay.

Anyone try WMS with the OPlay?

Re: Podcast Problem

OK, I got it to work by clicking "Get Properties" and then selecting "Send original podcast links to playback device". It does not operate as I would expect. I would think that when you select the podcast it would go out and get the rss feed and present me with the items; those i...

Podcast Problem

I am using 0.72.2 and after I enter various podcast rss feeds my two media players (wdtv-live and popcorn a-100) show "No Content Found on Server".

Here is one feed that does not work.
