Transoding profiles after update

Hello, it is needed to restore transcoding profiles from distribution kit after an update? Or how can I check if the restoration is needed? After the last update I tried to restore Movies (additional) and the restored version is different from the previous one. But I am not sure if I ever changed th...

Re: Panasonic G20 and movies with AR higher than 16:9

Hello, for current WMS (1.59.2) set this: - Setting - Devices - select your TV and press Settings - Codecs, Frame - set Frame size to 1920 x 1088 - set Format 16:9 - set Change the original frame size to Always I think that's all. If not check following (I am not sure what are default values/setting...

Re: Panasonic line G20: smooth transcode 23.97 and 25 FPS

Hello, after a few recent WMS updates my modification has stopped work. Here is the actual version of my transcode profile Movies (additional)_FR . The difference between this one and the standard one is very small because the modification was partially adapted by author but 23.97 movies are still n...

Panasonic line G20: smooth transcode 23.97 and 25 FPS

Hello, I've prepared modified profile Movies (additional)_FR which correctly transcodes both framerates. It means smooth and in sync (audio, video). Go to: - Settings, Transcoder, click the button Profiles - find Movies (additional) in the Trancode profile list - select it and click Copy - find Movi...

Re: individual FPS setting per movie

Sorry, I'm not sure where. Transcoder settings: 23,976. My DVD ISO is 25 FPS. I set 0 FPS in Edit information on Cell 00. But it doesn't work. The movie is jerky and Test transcoding still shows: Input #0, mpeg, from '\\.\pipe\7787B399320E40CC8C53E5AE14495074': Duration: N/A, start: 0.287267, bitrat...

Re: ISO DVD image

I know that the method via Settings, Media-resources works but it creates for each ISO a new subfolder in CD/DVD/BD images(ISO) with all those VOBs and CELLs. Anyway I'd like to use the drag'n'drop method which adds ISO directly in CD/DVD/BD images(ISO) . Unfortunately such records don't survive WMS...

individual FPS setting per movie

Hello. Is it somehow possible to have individiual FPS setting for each movie? My HD movies have 23.976FPS but DVD ISOs have typically 25FPS. I have to change FPS in transcoder setting according to the source because if input and output FPS are not equal then the playback is not smooth. It is very un...

Re: ISO DVD image

Thank you - it works. But I want to drag an ISO file directly on the right panel when CD/DBD/BD Images (ISO) is selected. It's a different way and you can edit whole ISO at once and not just individual VOBs or Cells.

ISO DVD image

Hello, does anybody know how to permanently add a DVD ISO image to CD/DVD/BD images? This folder is always empty when WMS starts. Thanks

Re: Panasonic G20 and movies with AR higher than 16:9

Hello everybody. I've just found out that everything what is needed is just one simple thing: set frame size to 1920 x 1088 in transcoder settings. Everything else is obsolete. Just use original J.T.K.'s panasonic profile, set transcoder frame size and enjoy widescreen :)
