I don't know what happened.
After upgrade to 1.8.4 everytime I start a movie it starts loading then quit and looking for the next movie in the catalog.
I saw such acting when the file was missing but all files are OK and they were fine yesterday.
How could I fix it.

come on.
Come on...
Who installed it already and everything is fine.
Now after testing I see that I cannot play movies when files are located on the network.
Local files are played OK.
...yes network is fine and I can watch movies through the same laptop.

I have installed 1.08.4 here. Everything seems to work ok, starting a movie works as expected.

that's good news.
Do you have resources from the local network or local PC?
Oskar
PS. In the meantime I removed WMS and install 1.8.2 and works fine.

So far all local, I missed that, looking mainly at your initial post...
I copied a simple video file to a network disk and added this file to WMS. It played without any issue here.
It was a movie though with no transcoding needed.
