Panasonic Viera TX-P42V10E

Post by otto100 »

Hi, I have a TX-P42V10E and it all works very well with the WMS. However, if I want to stream films from 720p, the picture and sound jerky after a few seconds.
What can one do to change or is it just like that. The TX has DLNA 1.0. Various settings I've tried, without success.
Maybe there's a solution.

The TV has a USB, SD card over, he can play the following formats:
Divx
MPEG-2 (PS-format)
MPEG-1 / Layer 2

Setting transcoding: MPEG_PS_PAL and 720x406.

On Windows Seven / Window Vista you can try the transcoding profile "Movies - CoreAVC" (required FFDShow, Haali Splitter)

I played through several variants (with CoreAVC), the result is the same. The trans-encoded video from 720 jerky after a few seconds.
Could it be that my computer does not succeed (Dual-Core 3Ghz)?

What is the speed of transcoding?

The speed is 18fps at HD-Movies shown during the Test-Transcoding (normal videos much higher). With the TsMuxer test of speed in order, the TV show it will not. Maybe you can do something.

You can use Pre-transcoding - http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... &f=3#p3301

Have now tried pre-transcoding works very well and is a good alternative.
I will summarize once again: The TX-P42V10E plays all standard video (any file extension - but only with the WMS). Be used for playback of HD video requires pre-transcoding. Whether the PC is too weak, I do not know, because with my LG BD-390 everything works.

Thanks again for your support.
