Hi there,
first let me congratulate you for the impressive media server, no doubt the best i've tried, and i've tried a hell lot of them.

now there are a few issues I would like to report, I don't know if you already know them but i've searched and found nothing.

First problem, I'm portuguese, and I use characters like á à é ç ã etc, and when i put the charset to western none of this characters appears, am I doing something bad?

second problem, i like to place the year of the movies in my database and I usually use brakets '[]' the media player sees the movies and plays then but no subtitles, i guess it is the way you parse the string to mencoder cause the string of the srt breaks on the ']'.

If i can assist and any of this problems let me know.

Thanks again for the wounderfull Media Server

Update program to 0.72.2 viewtopic.php?p=371#p371
Subtitle file connected to the track list when scanning?
On the right-button "mouse" - Edit information - select a subtitle track, Edit, enter the letter language code (2-3 characters)

Try rename to txt-file or attach a sample file (in the archive) on the forum or send it to support@wildmediaserver.com. The program does not use mencoder for subtitles.
