I have WMS running as a service successfully. When I am transcoding rmvb files (using Real Alternative codec), the WMS service memory usage shoots up to 650 odd megs. The rmvb files aren't anything special - 200mb / 45 minute tv episodes. The memory won't be released unless I restart the WMS service. When I am transcoding an avi to include subtitles, the WMS service sits at around 240mb instead.
What transcoding profile is used?

n.b. After playing an AVI, the service will release it's memory after a minute or so. It doesn't seem to be doing so with rmvb.

edit: Playing mkv, which also uses Movies - TsMuxer, consumes ~200 - 250mb. This is also released after a few minutes. In addition, tsmuxer.exe consumes around 250mb.
Transcoding profile "Movies - TsMuxer" does not use "Real Alternative codec"

I could not repeat the problem, but perhaps it is related to the use of transcoding buffer.

Hi,

With the latest Real Alternative and WMS 1.07, the problem still exists.

I have deactivated the service and will try and run without to see if the problem exists still. Unfortunately I don't know where to look to change the transcoding buffer size
