Net connection failing

Computer
CPU: 3.16GHz Dual Core
Ram: 4gig
HDD: Big =8)
Win XP Pro SP3 + all current updates
Network
Hard Wired Switch (not Hub). Net comes into Hub --> Hub goes to Switch --> Machines & TV wired through Switch

Gave WMS trial a go a few months back. But then life got in the way, & since then I've also had to format & re-install my system
Gave v0.73 & v1.01 a try prior to system re-install, & except for teething problems, was quite happy with it.
Installed v1.04.7 just over a week ago, & all is working as it should, but it is creating an unusal problem!!!
Now & then, my internet connection drops out/stops, & I need to restart system to get it back
WMS still works even though Net connection has stopped (LAN)
Wasn't happening prior to installing WMS. Fresh install running about 1 1/2 months.
ONLY happens since WMS installed & running (not ran as a service).
Dosen't always happen, & I also can't emulate the circumstances to make it happen. Just does it whenever it feels like it
Has this happened to anyone else?
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
