Issues with autoscan setting

I have seen this problem for a while (and the feature seemed to work at one point on an older release). As of 1.0.4.1, the problem is this:

The server is configured to "Automatically scan directories with modification"
The server is running fine and I am able to access media from both DSM-520 and LG BD570

If i then add new videos to one of the video folders, the devices are unable to connect to the server. The LG reports a connection error (I need to confirm the behavior of the 520). The only way to recover is to manually restart the server. Sometimes that doesn't work and so I turn off the LG and stop and then start the server again, then reconnect to the server.

For now, I have disabled this feature and am manually rescanning when I add new media. It would sure be nice if I could get that feature to work though...

Green button on remote, does not solve the problem?

By green button, do you mean the function to re-select the server? If so, then no, that does not fix the problem. I can power cycle the unit, rescan for servers and re-select WMS, and I keep getting the connection error until I restart WMS, then rescan and re-select it.

Thanks, I will try to reproduce the problem.
