Hi,
i set up the media server an everything is fine. Only one but important thing does not work:

If i press rewind or forward, my tv says, that this is not possible.

My Samsung is a brand new UE46C6820.

Is there anys setting in the wild media server, that solves this problem?

thanks
boba

Hi there,
I played around a lot until I got my Samsung tv running right, tried alot of server programs out with different encoder settings.
WMS is the only one that works well for me including FF and RW.
I use Handbrake settings are:
Container-MKV
Web Optimized-ticked
Anamorphic-none
presets-Regular high profile(right hand window)

Audio window-I always use AAC all the other settings Auto except Bitrate 160

All other settings I leave as they are.

In WMS have a look in Settings-Device then on top line Type check that you have Samsung as device-Samsung TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)

Hope this helps you out

Hi,
i dont want to make advertisment for other companys, but i tried the twonky media server and with this i am able to forward and and rewind.

So i think its a missing feature of the wild media server....

Nothing concrete, an advertising and anti-advertising :)
