Wild media server (UPnP, DLNA, HTTP)

I am trying to purchase a license for my wdetv live using a wireless adapter. I read through the info and got the device code for the wdtv live no problem. The issue is that i cannot browse the media server through the wdtv live without adding a second device (image attached). Both devices with the ip 192.168.1.254 have to be allowed in the list of allowed devices. What is going on? I do not want to purchase two licenses for one physical device?! Please advise

Add a device WDTVLIVE (second line), no problem.
