Is there a way to make the covers for the DVDs load quicker?
I have tried making them smaller size but they still seem to load slowly (or slower than my background image). Maybe it is my network but no way to hook up directly.
I was thinking maybe put them all in one directory or?

Eugene, I think he means thumbnails. DVD covers/ Fanart
I put all my fanart into a folder "thumbnails" in the root of the hard drive where my movies are.
My thumbnails load ok, on the WMS program, but, they are not particularly quick on my TV.
It could be a slow network, I use home plugs.

Thumbnails appear quickly if out of the folder and enter it again ?

if I come out of the folder & then go back in, it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Although, I said it wasn't particularly fast, I haven't go a problem with it.

Yes, I meant the cover from the DVD 'thumb'...
Actually, the DVD covers load fairly quick... it is the folder icons that I made that are
slow loading....
Mine are in the root directory in a folder and are .png files....
I should probably convert then to jpg and compress.
I will convert those and test.... (after I get my computer at home running again)
